Listen: tips and advice for booking a holiday this summer

Nearly half (49%) of UK travellers are still yet to book their holiday this year, with 3 in 4 (76%) looking to take more holiday this summer compared to last year.

Brits want more of summer and they’re not waiting for their departure date to get into the holiday mood. In fact, nearly 3 in 10 (29%) say that doing this earlier makes them more productive.

The best ways to get into holiday mood are shopping for summer travel essentials (46%) discussing summer plans with friends and family (41%) and checking the weather in their dream holiday destinations (37%).

The research by Skyscanner also reveals that maximising their summer holiday is important to 86% of Brits.
