Lucy Beresford on Valentine’s Day

According to a new survey*, 88% of people value romance in their intimate relationships with 84% considering themselves romantic.   

However, 30% admit to feeling disappointed or upset when it comes to Valentine’s Day. 

The survey polled members of Ashley Madison and discovered nearly half say they spend the same amount on Valentine’s Day gifts for their primary partner(s) (49%), whilst only 52% of members said they enjoy receiving Valentine’s Day gifts themselves, and of those, the majority (22%) said they would prefer for the gift to be a dinner.
