Many Brits consuming twice the calories they normally would while on holiday

A quarter of Brits admit to eating more than twice the amount of food they normally would while on holiday.

The study, carried out by Yakult, researched people’s eating habits while on holiday and found that 37% say they tuck into foods they usually avoid, while a quarter (27%) claim their usual diet goes completely out of the window.

In turn, this can lead to repercussions, with eight in ten Brits (81%) admitting they have felt unwell because they ate too much on holiday.
