Parents discuss keeping their children safe online

The internet is increasingly embedded in everyday life and there’s no doubt be beneficial for a child’s education.

New research by Apple ahead of Safer Internet Day reveals that only 1 in 4 parents have sat down with their child to educate them on how to behave and be safe online.

Only three in ten parents have implemented safeguards on their child’s device. For those that have yet to do so, 3 in 4 parents admit this is because they place confidence in their child’s ability to do the right thing.
