Ros meets Peaceful Place on Gateway

Peaceful Place is a charity offering a day activities service for those experiencing the early onset of dementia and is based in Timberlog Lane in Barstable.  It can provide transport to and from your home if you live within an hour’s radius of Basildon. There are a range of sport and social activities available.

Gateway’s Ros Connors spoke with Chief Executive Officer Charlotte Curran, and Volunteers Coordinator Jenny Frost about why this service is so important to local people.
