UK drivers would get behind the wheel during a red weather warning

New research from Direct Line Motor Insurance reveals that two thirds (66 per cent) of UK drivers would drive during a red weather warning.

During a red weather warning the Met Office advises that dangerous weather is expected and that there will very likely be a risk to life so people should avoid travelling where possible.

The admission came even though 75 per cent of drivers stated that they understood what a red weather warning meant.
