Why English breakfast tea remains 2025’s top choice for our mornings?

The new research, by independent trend forecaster Tracksuit, reveals that English Breakfast tea brands are still our top tea choices for our mornings. There are secrets within its flavour as to why so many of us are filling our mugs with it each morning and choosing it over other flavours such as Earl Grey and flavoured teas. 

When it comes to choices – Yorkshire Tea, Tetley and Twinings top the list of our go-to tea bags with local connections also steering our choice. In fact, we’re so loyal to our tea that 33% of us even go so far as packing our favourite tea bags when we go on holiday!
