On Saturday 25th 2020, EastgateShopping Centre in Basildon played host to Chinese New Year [Year Of The Rat] and there were many events on for family’s and friends to enjoy. There were stalls and a Martial Arts Display near Starbucks which was a showcase of Chinese Martial Art Skills. The highlight of the event though was the Three Headed Lions which put on a wacky parade in the Upper Galleries of the Eastgate Shopping Centre.
When the Lions reached Gateway 97.8, they performed their Ballroom Dance before charging through the offices and into the studio’s in search of their favourite food which is Lettice. The Gateway 97.8 Radio Club were really entertained and a few of them nearly got eaten by the Dragons.
