Hello dear listener.  Another January assortment of eclectic tunes for your listening pleasure, and we also get active with ‘Active Essex’.  Our ‘Retro Rewind’ is to 1988, when actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson launched the new Comic Relief charity appeal.  The SDP and Liberals merged together to form the Liberal Democrats.  It was also the year of the Piper Alpha oil rig explosion and the bombing of Pan Am flight 103.
