Listen: how 1-on-1 education could shorten attainment gap
As schools adapt to students’ evolving needs, 1-to-1 tutoring is emerging as the future of education. With larger class sizes, rising mental health concerns, and the need for personalised learning, this approach is becoming essential.
A 2024 survey from The National Parent Survey UK found that 80% of parents preferred flexible learning options, citing better time management and reduced travel stress. This growing preference for flexibility underscores the increasing demand for solutions like online tutoring that can meet students’ needs from the comfort of their own homes.
The data speaks for itself: A 2024 study by found that students who received 1-to-1 tutoring saw a 67% improvement in attainment, with grades increasing 2.5 times more than those in traditional classroom settings. In fact, students who received personalised tutoring were 50% more likely to retain knowledge long-term compared to their peers in group settings.
