Neil Gits In The Bathroom

Living on your own and rarely having visitors, you do tend to get a little slack when it coes to the household chores ! I don’t tend to worry too much if things that other people do almost daily, don’t get done at mine for a week or two. As long as everything is in it’s rightful place and functioning properly, that’s what matters most to me -, I usually put “tidy” ahead of “clean” in my world …

However, the other day I had one of ‘those’ moments when I casually popped upstairs to use the loo and stopped in my tracks thinking “Oh my god, that is filthy !!” and immediately (well, at least straight after doing my business …) returned downstairs to the kitchen to grab cream cleaner, toilet gel, a cloth , a scourer and a big tin of elbow grease to resolve the issue. It actually didn’t take long and was quite easy to sort out, so I wondered why I’d let it get in such a state – in fact I might have a go at the rest of the bathroom soon too. Spring must be coming …

Spring is definitely one of the seasons of the year when I feel that soul music sounds great on the radio, right up there with summer and autumn … as well as winter too !!
