Neil Gits Back To Basics

It’s been very difficult to think of interesting things to write about in my blog over the last six months as about 90% of my usual activities are in mothballs still – although the opportunity to drive around the country taking photos in my ‘new hobby’ has managed to inspire me to fill a few lines in my posts recently ! But it’s time to remember that “The Old Gits Soul Show” is all about the music, the soul, the jazz, the funk, the disco and sometimes one or two elements on the fringe of ‘the scene’ like reggae or Northern Soul … and this is where you can check out my playlists, either before or after listening to any of my shows.

I do try and make sure I am a good DJ and always announce the artist name and title of each song either before or afterwards as I was taught in “DJ School” , but with advancing age sometimes I forget and even if I don’t there’s always that chance that you may not quite catch it, even if you listen twice a week to the live show AND the repeat (I know some people actually do that !!)
