Neil Gits Backache!

I don’t know what I did, but on Monday morning I woke up with a bit of a stiff back – maybe it was attempting that overhead kick for England in the last minute of the World Cup Final in my dreams on Sunday night !! I hardly mentioned it on air at all in the evening as it was just a slight twinge, but at my quiz night on Tuesday I made the huge mistake of trying to shift a heavy table to get a regular team a place to sit and …. YEEEEOOOOWWWCH !!

Come Wednesday morning I could hardly move without major pain, same story Thursday, but it has eased considerably now, but not eneough to be able to get to one of my favourite summer soul gigs at Herne Bay tonight. For me I will be resigned to resting gently indoors, possibly listening to myself on the weekly Saturday “Repeat Play” of this week’s show at 5pm but if I can’t reach the “on” button on my radio without screaming, I will have to wait till I can get on the PC and choose “Listen Again” … here are the latest tunes :
