Hello ! There’s a lot of food going around at this time of year isn’t there ? I’ve been guilty of skipping meals recently or at best just grabbing a packet of crisps & a biscuit to “keep me going”, but I have certainly been making up for that this week ! On Wednesday my son’s football training was cancelled so we took advantage of a couple of extra hours to knock up a huge bowl of spaghetti & meatballs to enjoy whilst catching up on the footy on TV, then on Friday lunchtime I scraped together a few leftovers from the fridge and freezer to make me a makeshift dinner before work (which turned out ot be bigger than a “normal” one !) as I was told that the usual fish n chips freebie wasn’t happening this time – only to find they were giving out free roast dinners to my colleague and I at a race night we were running !! Saturday morning I passed on my usual all day breakfast knowing I was going out for a big curry feast in the evening and right now at 3pm on Sunday I am still not hungry enough for my Sunday cooked breakfast. Oh and earlier I booked Nathan and myself in for the semi-traditional “all you can eat Xmas day buffet” at a Chinese near us …
What’s all this got to do with my two hour soul show on Gateway, I hear you ask ? Well, absolutlely nothing actually – but it did fill the gap between “Hello!” and my latest playlist and recommended soul nights list …
