Neil Gits His Rockhopper Back

Unless you live with a hairdresser / barber or are very trusting of family members armed with a set of clippers, I am imagining you are looking somewhat unkempt right now – and I am certainly no exception ! Being largely bald (there , I have said it !) it came as quite a shock last summer that I could grow a few areas of my remaining hair quite long, but found that i rather enjoyed it and was very reluctant when the time came to get it all shaved off …

And so here we are again ! It’s not such a novelty this time of course and living on my own, when I have found the odd clump actually a bit annoying, I have grabbed a pair of scissors and attacked it – not really recommended if unlike me you have to be out in the public domain, looking presentable. But that is one of the beauties of being on the radio – it doesn’t matter one jot what you look like or what you wear, it’s all about the voice and the tunes ! Of course, if you listen online between 5 and 7pm today (Saturday) to the “Repeat Play” or indeed from 7 till 9pm on Monday when the new live show goes out, a slightly out of date photo of me appears on the website, so you might be able to put together a rough image of how I look now.
