Neil Gits In A Fight !

I am not sure if it was the continued onset of old age or the effects of a stressful couple of weeks on all fronts, but last Monday’s show saw me in a desperate battle with the technology in Studio One … which ultimately, I have to say, I lost !! 🙁  Sometimes, it doesn’t matter how many super soul tracks you put in your playlist or how many hours (!) you spend preparing all the information to accompany them, if the stars are not aligned correctly at 7pm on a Monday, then your fingers and brain simply find it impossible to co-ordinate and be at one with the CD players and mixing desk …

Thankfully, I made use of the “Listen Again” facility on the website during the week and of course the songs that I played were so utterly brilliant that I hardly noticed the odd schoolboy error made along the way, so get yourself tuned in right now (the repeat show has just started !!) or ‘listen again’ at your leisure and judge for yourself. The show goes out live at 7pm every Monday and gets a second airing at 5pm on a Saturday and is also known as “The Old Gits Soul Show” … oh, hang on … there’s a clue in that name – yep, it WAS just me getting older and more decrepit after all !!
