Whilst “The Old Gits Soul Show” is not an out & out request show, I have been very pleased lately with the level of interaction by both new & regular listeners who have come up with some cracking suggestions for tunes to add in amongst those plucked from my own never ending lists of ideas ! Being a specialist ‘soul, jazz-funk & disco’ programme, with the majority of tracks coming from the 70s & 80s, I have had to reject the odd song or two for being a bit ‘borderline’ but on the whole it is quite heart-warming that so many like-minded folk have discovered our weekly get together and really ‘get it’ …
