Read that title again ! It says ” joggers ” – NOT ” jogging ” ! I don’t want you to think for one nano-second that I have taken up any form of exercise whatsoever – no way !! This is ” The Old Git ” we are talking about here …
At the risk of turning this into a fashion blog following my previous scribblings about the new jeans, this week I had a chance to break in my other recent legwear purchases, two pairs of joggers (or track bottoms as us old folks used to call them!) and my god are they comfortable ! After several hours of trying them out in various different positions on the sofa, I have worked out that I can probably watch another 10% of telly per day in them without getting a sore bottom !
What’s more, they are nice to wear at the PC in the office too, so I have felt more relaxed when choosing my songs for the show and really come up with some belters for this week which I will share with you this coming Monday LIVE at 7pm on Gateway. For now, you can look forward to the “Repeat Play” this afternoon (Saturday) from 5pm or rush to “Listen Again” and take your pick of recent shows you may have missed there … “Cool Soul” now even more lush !!
