This week has been one of those weeks when the internet has reminded us who is in charge – and it’s NOT us humans anymore !! At the time of writing this (Saturday morning) I have been unable to send or receive any emails since Monday evening due to the company I use suffering one of those dreaded “outages” that comes out of nowhere and brings online activity to a standstill. Thankfully, I am not currently working (no, sitting in a radio studio playing CDs doesn’t count as work!) so there are very few things I do that desperately need me to have email contact, with most people in my life reachable via Facebook or phone – but I have noticed the difference !
The “Old Gits Soul Show” however is completely unaffected and you can catch up with last week’s offering either by going to our “Listen Again” page on this site or tuning in for the ‘Repeat Play’ on the station at 5pm this evening – don’t forget, if it’s easier for you, we are now on DAB radio all over Essex till the end of the year ! As ever, the first chance to hear two hours of fantastic soul, jazz-funk & disco tunes is LIVE on Monday from 7-9pm when you can take part in the show via text, Facebook … and probably email too ! Hopefully, while I am busy typing this and preparing my next show over the weekend, my internet provider will do me proud and get the issue resolved …
