Neil Gits Some Exercise

18th April 2020
Posted by Neil Matthew

No !!! Not really – this is ME we’re talking about ! But … I have been doing some important “body training” indoors over the last few weeks, training my bottom to withstand the rigours of watching stuff on TV, Netflix, DVDs, Amazon Prime, BBC i-Player, You Tube and even VHS videos for hour upon hour. It’s been tough, but I have now got it in shape to handle four hours non-stop without needing to move off the sofa, which can be extended to around eight hours with toilet breaks and fridge raids strategically slotted in along the way…

I now have gathered quite a list of things I MUST see before this apocalypse eventually comes to an end, including 21 films, 15 classic comedy shows, 9 acclaimed drama series, 13 football documentaries and seemingly an almost infinite number of fascinating You Tube posts of many varied kinds !! But don’t worry dear listener – I will make absolutely sure I find time in my busy, busy new schedule to put together a fantastic two hour show crammed full of soul, jazz-funk & disco favourites from the 70s & 80s each week. Have a listen to the latest one via “Listen Again” on this website or hear it repeated on the radio in full ‘as live’ at 5pm this Saturday evening. These are the tunes :
