Neil Gits South Of The River

Since the last blog, I’ve been out and about with my camera again, making use of a rare window of opportunity to get out of the office and explore a couple of parts of Southern England that had evaded me over the years … and tick off new football grounds in the process of course ! My number one destination was Premier League Crystal Palace which despite being much nearer to my home than many stadiums I’ve been to, had somehow steered clear of my photographic skills. Whilst “on the south side” I checked the map and worked out that visits to East Grinstead & Haywards Heath were both do-able and after a bare minimum of traffic stress, my idea of a good day out was successfully enjoyed !

That all took place a week last Friday, but Monday is my favourite day of the week, pure indulgence each time, selecting some fabulous soul songs for you to enjoy, treating myself to some tasty fast food en route to the studio, then relaxing in the studio presenting my show before popping round to the g/f on the way home for a couple of hours of chill out time & telly. This Monday may be a Bank Holiday, but nothing changes for me so tune in at 7pm for another two hours of the good stuff LIVE on Gateway … and if you get to read this blog soon after I post it, you can still enjoy last week’s show repeated at 5pm on Saturday, or visit “Listen Again” on here.
