The Summer Season Of Soul is upon us – it’s June! This HAS to be Summer right? So when putting my playlist together last Monday I included several songs which would sound just perfect on a lovely warm sunny evening, drifting into the sunset. But of course this is an ENGLISH summer … so it chucked it down all through my show from 7-9pm last Monday.

However, the beauty of the “Listen Again” feature on our website is that you can, if you wish, wait for the weather to be nice and summery, then listen to the show whenever you wish at a time when the weather and the music are most compatible ! And as it is Saturday today, you can also get that “almost live” experience by tuning in to the repeat play at 5pm, neatly followed by this week’s “UK Soul Chart” at 7pm …
