I had to make room for a record EIGHT requests on last week’s show ! I am so pleased that more and more people seem to be discovering my slot on Gateway and enjoying it so much that they feel compelled to contribute to the playlist – and the choices are nearly always really good ones that fit the show perfectly !
Of course, I have a lot of ideas of my own, with endless lists of various types of soulful tunes compiled over previous months and the “Old Gits Soul Show” just wouldn’t be the same without its numerous ‘features’ , so I have to make sure there is room for them as well. I am currently, as I write this, in the early stages of putting this Monday’s selection together and already five requests that have found their way to me. But do feel free to get in touch with your own ideas if you think they would slot in perfectly and if there’s no space for them this week, then they will be at the top of the list for the next programme !
