Neil Gits The Ciders In !

If you have been reading these blogs and indeed listening to my shows for the last few years you may well have noticed that when it comes to football I am a long-time Billericay Town fan. Although in recent times I have not been going to nearly as many matches as I was say ten years ago due to numerous various other commitments, I just cannot resist the chance to take off on a long away trip when the opportunity presents itself and tick off a new ground watching The Blues play at. So, when we drew 2-2 in the FA Cup at home to Taunton Town, and a replay away at their place on a Wednesday became necessary, there was only one place I was going to be that night – especially as it was during half-term week with no school stuff to deal with for Nathan and the G/F “A13 Annie” has the next day off work anyway !! Billericay won 1-0 and we had  a really good drive there and back, plus took in a visit to Somerset CCC to keep cricket-mad Ann happy too – oh and a glass of Thatchers Gold Cider was partaken prior to kick off too .. just for good luck ! 😉

Meanwhile, it’s all back to normal at Old Git Towers and after catching up on outstanding jobbies in the office, another fab show awaits your ears from 7pm tonight (Monday) – hope you can tune in !
