Neil Gits To 3 Countries In 3 Days !

Yes, this year’s birthday road trip has been and gone again and this time I ticked another box on my list of missions – to drive to Scotland !! We took the scenic route (literally!) via Snowdonia in North Wales, some spectacular sights were to be seen there and many photographs taken before an overnight stay in Chester and then continuing the journey across the border (but only just) with more breathtaking scenery on the way right down into the South West corner at Stranraer before realizing we now had to turn around and go all the way back to England and find our hotel just south of the Yorkshire Dales, catching some glorious views as the sun set in the evening. A fraction over 1,000 miles were added to the clock on the Neil-mobile by the time we returned to Essex and it took a few days to fully recover, but by Monday I was back in Studio 1, ready for Old Gits Soul business !
