It is a very strange feeling suddenly having lots of time on your hands and hours to fill with …something…anything…when you are so used to being busy, busy, busy all week long, day after day and then almost in the blink of an eye your entire workload is wiped out by the effects of a rather naughty little virus – and for once it’s not a computer type one !! Like many, many other people I am finding the current situation exteremely hard to come to terms with, but being the “Old Git” that I am, I have found the best way to keep my pecker up is to engrose myself in wave after wave of nostalgia and have this week finally got back to where I left off in posting all my fab photos on Facebook of football grounds and other road trips … nearly THREE YEARS AGO !!!

I never thought I would be looking back on 2017 with a tear in my eye and thinking “Ah, those were the days !” but now I am so glad I put the miles on the clock in the car and took my (then) new digital camera with me enabling me to relive some amazing memories of fairly recent times. However, if it is proper nostalgia you want, with classic soul, jazz-funk & disco tunes from at least 30 years ago providing the back drop, look (or rather listen!) no further than 5pm today (Saturday) and the repeat play of this week’s show – or if you are REALLY bored you can hear it again & again as often as you like via “Listen Again” here on our website.
