Sunday Delight – 1st March

2nd March 2026
Posted by Ros Connors

Hello Dear Listener, and happy St David’s Day. We’re into March, the first Spring month of the year and I have lined up for you another eclectic mix of fine tunes. There’s news of the Brits, a new X-Files movie, Lauryn Hill is nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in an archive interview we timewarp back to 1967, the year the long-running TV series The Fugitive came to its dramatic conclusion in the US. In an archive interview, we’ll hear from actor Barry Morse who played the relentless police detective Lt Gerard. Gerard pursued David Janssen’s character Dr Richard Kimble who was wrongly accused of murder, across Amercia throughout four seasons and 120 episodes.

In the ‘Retro Rewind’, I will play you some of the chart toppers from 1967.

Enjoy!
