Hello again dear listener. Welcome to another edition of Sunday Delight where I thought I’d play you some of those huge songs that didn’t quite make it to the number one spot at the top of the UK singles chart. This week’s ‘Retro Rewind’ takes us back in time to 1977, the year the big film was Star Wars, which was released in our cinemas, I will be playing you a selection of songs from the top-ten of that year. In an archive interview, you can hear actor Kenny Baker, who was inside the robot R2D2 in that first Star Wars movie.
