With kids being cooped up inside over the last year, bickering with your partner and having your bedroom or dining room doubling up as your home office, it can seem like there are limited options in your home for a little escape.

According to new research by Soap & Glory, it’s confirmed that the bathroom is the best room in the house, with 90% of Brits admitting a newfound love for the bathroom over the past year.

From bubbles and candles to oils and salts, however you like it, the tub is the place to boost your mood, sit back, relax and wash your worries away.

During the pandemic, Brits have even given the room some extra TLC with renovations and interior improvements to really make it an at-home sanctuary.

Aston spoke to interior designers Jordan Cluroe & Russell Whitehead to talk about the nation’s new love for the tub and gave their advice on the best bathroom upgrades on how to turn your bathroom into the best room in the house.
