Police have made arrests after environmental activists blocked ten oil terminals across the UK. The Just Stop Oil group claims the action might have an impact on fuel supply for London and the south east of England.
Protestors blocked the oil terminal in Thurrock, causing chaos for workers and nearby drivers. Essex Police described the protest as “an extremely dangerous situation for the protestors to be in.”
The statement continued: “We are being clear on the risks, and are continuing to engage with them to try and bring this to a conclusion.”
