The changing state of play for summer holidays has made the topic a sensitive one for the British public, as new
research released today reveals that almost a quarter of people have been targeted by holiday-related scams.

The research from Lloyds Bank found that one in eight have handed money over to fraudsters.

With one in five adults yet to book their holiday this year, there are concerns that holiday scammers will be cashing
in on those millions of holidaymakers looking to find a last-minute deal who aren’t that savvy.
