Volunteer as a driver with Peaceful Place dementia day activity centre

Peaceful Place in Basildon offer the only service in Essex for Early Onset Dementia and as part of the service they collect our members from home in the morning and return them late afternoon.

As members are mostly working age, their family/partners have to work and therefore the pick up and collection service is vital to the service.

The service was shut for many months and it is now reopen but are desperately short of volunteer drivers.

Peaceful Place is a members-led Charity which focuses on making new friendships and supporting members to maintain skills to help them remain independent for as long as possible.
