How Covid has affected the creative arts scene

Theatres up and down the country including the Towngate Theatre right here in Basildon have struggled throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Many have not been able to put on shows and welcome theatre lovers to watch performances due to current climate.

It’s not just theatres that have been hit hard during the pandemic, but creative arts as whole which includes performing arts schools and am-drams too. Performing arts schools along with am-drams have struggled through the pandemic in not running classes and performances.

Performers themselves have struggled mentally as well, as many are thinking about what the future of the creative arts industry will be like post pandemic.

Aston spoke to all round entertainer Ryan Swain to discuss how Covid-19 has affected the creative arts.
