Walk in coronavirus vaccines are available in Grays this weekend. To get your jab, just turn up at Thurrock Health Centre in Grays High Street between 8am and 8pm.

Cllr Allen Mayes, Cabinet Member for Health, said:

“A walk-in COVID-19 vaccination centre will be open all day in Grays this Saturday, 3 July, offering first and second doses to anyone over the age of 18.

“The centre will be open at Thurrock Health Centre, Grays High Street, from 8am to 8pm. There is no need to book ahead, walk-in appointments are available all day.

“Public Health England analysis has shown that having both doses of the vaccine is over 90% effective against hospitalisation from the Delta variant.

“The vaccine is now available to all adults aged 18 or over and anyone over the age of 40 can bring forward their second dose from 12 weeks to eight weeks.”

There is no need to make an appointment, just turn up and get vaccinated.
