Emma Kenny on getting your gas appliances checked

As the spring weather starts to warm up and lockdown restrictions ease, you probably have not given much thought to getting all your gas appliances serviced and checked out. However, that is exactly what Gas Safe Register is urging us to do now as our thoughts turn towards holidays and spending time outside.

We still have weeks before all restrictions lift, allowing normal life to resume, giving us time to finish off some of the little jobs around the house that we have been delaying, with 47% of us banishing tasks we cannot see to the back of our minds and 42% not feeling motivated enough to make inroads into our to-do lists.

Aston spoke to TV psychologist Emma Kenny and Bob Kerr from Gas Safe Register discuss how we ensure we are in the right frame of mind, why we must be sensible, why we should have our gas appliances checked/serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer and provide us with some tips to stay Better Gas Safe this Spring.
