Whether you’re one of the 17% who love working from home and don’t even want to go back to an office environment, or one of the 13% who say they prefer to be in an office and keep your home and work life separated, according to research by Heal’s, it’s no surprise we’ve all had to navigate working and spending so much time at home.

With the Nation divided, the question is are we working from home or living at work?

From dining room tables becoming desks, kitchen stools becoming work chairs or even changing a room around, we’ve had to adapt to the working from home life. 41% of Brits say that the design, furnishings, and functionality of our homes has felt more important since lockdown began.

Aston spoke to Kate Watson-Smyth, award winning interiors journalist and author to discuss how the home has evolved, how people have integrated offices, extended outdoor spaces, trends for the future, and what you can do to make your home the main vehicle for good mental health and wellbeing.
