With hospitals seeing a rise in young adults and unvaccinated COVID-19 patients, Dr Sarah Jarvis, is on a mission to encourage everyone, particularly those aged 18 – 25, to get their first and second dose of a vaccine for maximum protection.

As the country opens up again and hospitalisations continue to rise, parents and guardians are being urged to play an active role in talking to their children about COVID-19 vaccines and encouraging them to get vaccinated.

40% of 18-24 year olds have still not received their first vaccination, and only 18% have received their second dose. Hospitals are seeing a rise in young and unvaccinated adults being admitted to hospital due to COVID-19, and with lockdown restrictions now eased in England it is predicted that COVID-19 cases are likely to increase.
