Radzi calls on Brits to look out for lonely and vulnerable

After weeks of wet and windy weather, Brits can finally look forward to a sun-kissed Bank Holiday weekend.

But as we dust off the barbecue and prepare to celebrate with family and friends, are we in danger of forgetting the people in our community who have been hit hardest by the pandemic: the lonely, the elderly and the vulnerable?

As part of a campaign to spread cheer to lonely people across the UK, Radzi will be presiding over Well Pharmacy’s one millionth message of hope, and calling on all of us to continue looking out for the people we have supported through the Covid crisis.

The pharmacy group’s scheme has seen letters and pictures made by children put into NHS prescription bags and distributed to a million elderly and vulnerable people across the country, many of whom had been shielding or seen little of friends and family for more than a year.

Aston spoke to TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.
