UK workforce determined to keep hybrid working after the pandemic

While we remain eager to safely leave coronavirus restrictions behind us and return to a new normal, there are several changes brought about by the pandemic which Brits hope will stick around.

The most important one being hybrid working – which allows a degree of flexibility to work at home, in the office, or split time between both. In fact, the majority (57%) of UK adults think employers should continue to offer hybrid working even after general restrictions are lifted, according to new research from Slack.

Almost a quarter (22%) of all Brits feel so passionately about hybrid working that they would consider leaving their current role if it were no longer an option. This rises to more than a third (35%) among 25 to 34-year-olds.

Aston spoke to Chris Mills, head of customer success EMEA at Slack to discuss this new research further, and offer tips for those who struggle with communication, but want hybrid working to stick around in the long-term.
