Basildon Council cancels committee meeting

Basildon Council has released the following statement:

The Council is committed to public participation in the planning process. In light of recent events and following the latest Government advice on the Coronavirus, a decision has been made to cancel tonight’s meeting of the planning committee.

The council will review its arrangements, having regard to guidance as it emerges. 

The council is also reviewing other scheduled council and committee meetings and will make announcements about these in the very near future.
