Basildon Pride Festival 2025

Basildon Pride held their annual Basildon Pride festival on Saturday 6th September over at Gloucester Park in Basildon. The festival commenced at midday whilst there was a parade which started outside the Toys ‘R’ Us building at 11am.

Some of the acts included local band The Vi5ion, The Cher Experience, ABBA Nation and headline act La Voix from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Gateway 97.8 were also in attendance with some of the acts appearing on the Gateway 97.8 stage which was compered by Kurt Wilson and Ryan Surridge.

Some of our radio club members as well as Bola managed to grab some interviews with some of residents of Basildon as well as community groups and the acts who were in attendance on the day as well.
