“Dick Whittington” at Towngate Theatre

Following on from last years pantomime “Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs” Simon Fielding and Sophie Ladds are back at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon with the pantomime “Dick Whittington” which runs from Wednesday 27th November 2019 to Sunday 5th Janaury 2020.

Monday 9th December plays host to relaxed performance of “Dick Whittington”, where which the performance begins at 5pm, before that the cast meet the public and there is also a special visit from father Christmas. During the performance the lights are up for around half of the performance with announcements minimal and noise levels reduced (i.e. no pyros or loud echoes).

Aston spoke to Simon Fielding and Sophie Ladds to get an insight into what to expect from this years pantomime.
