James McMurdock MP, Member of Parliament for South Basildon and East Thurrock, has congratulated BOSP on achieving an “Exceptional” judgement across all categories following its recent Ofsted inspection.
The charity, which supports children and young people with complex disabilities and additional needs, achieved the highest possible rating in every area assessed. An “Exceptional” judgement across all categories is an extremely rare achievement and reflects the consistently high standards delivered by BOSP’s dedicated staff and volunteers.
Ofsted praised the organisation’s work, stating that,
“with the expert support and encouragement of the highly trained, highly motivated staff, children achieve beyond expectations,” and that “the opportunities they receive across the setting are life changing.”
Mr McMurdock said,
“BOSP’s achievement is nothing short of outstanding. To achieve an “exceptional” judgement is a remarkable testament to the dedication of the entire team.”
“The support BOSP provides to children and families across the local area is invaluable, and something that truly stood out to me when I visited.”
“This is not only fantastic news for BOSP, but for South Basildon and East Thurrock as a whole. We should be incredibly proud to have an organisation of this calibre serving local families.”
“BOSP has set a standard of excellence that others across the country can aspire to, and I would like to congratulate everyone involved on this well-deserved success.”
