Local cafe launches Essex’s biggest breakfast challenge

Today B&D’s announced the launch of their new MEGA breakfast.

The Mega Breakfast has been self proclaimed as ‘Essex’s biggest breakfast’ consisting of 4 sausages, 4 rashers of bacon, 4 eggs, 2 slices of black pudding, 4 hashbrowns, 2 bubble and squeak patties, 1 portion of chips, baked beans, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, 2 slices of toast, 2 slices of fried bread and slices of bread and butter, served with a cup of tea or coffee. Costing only £25. They have opened the challenge to everyone, exclusively offering that if it is eaten within 30 minutes the meal is free, subject to terms.

So far, no customer has completed the challenge, despite several attempts. Store Manager Tracey at B&D’s, described the challenge as “unbeatable”.

Alongside this Mega Breakfast, B&D’s is launching their Mega Sandwich, a 2 layer club sandwich consisting of a slice of toast, 2 hashbrowns, 2 rashers of bacon, 1 1/2 sausages, sauce of choice, another slice of toast, beans, cheese, a fried egg and the final slice of toast. Priced at only £7.95. A MEGA Deal!

B&D’s is a local much-loved independant cafe, open everyday between 8am-2pm, serving up Full English Breakfasts, Homemade Classic Lunches, Sandwiches, Toasties and Paninis, Omelettes, Jacket Potatoes, etc. It is also known for supporting local charities, recently raising £108 for Sunny Days Children’s Fund.
