REEF, the ecosystem that connects the world to your block, has announced it will take over management of the Westgate Shopping Park Car Park beginning August 14. REEF Parking, formerly known as ParkJockey, is one of the world’s leading parking operators, with a network of over 4,500 locations globally across Europe and North America.

According the REEF, they will introduce: “first-in-class ticketless technology, payment transparency and a more efficient system of providing drivers with available parking spaces when they need them. “

REEF Managing Director for the UK & Europe, Barak Zimerman commented on the news:

“We’re excited to take over operations of the Westgate Shopping Park and look forward to working with the local community to provide the level of service they deserve. As we launch our new parking solutions at the shopping park, we will work to ensure that we are providing an optimal customer service experience and an accountable, organized means of payment for drivers.”

John Baron, MP for Basildon and Billericay wrote:

“I welcome the change in management, and will be monitoring progress closely. Having expressed my concerns previously, I am hoping there will be an improvement in how this car park is managed for the benefit of constituents.”
