The broadcast will feature songs which have been chosen by members of the community in memory of their loved ones, as well as moments of reflection and remembrance for all.
St. Luke’s Hospice annual Light up a Life appeal gives people the chance to celebrate the memory of a loved one, while also supporting the Hospice.
In addition to the radio dedication show, people can choose to donate to the Hospice in memory of their loved ones and leave a personal message on a special online dedication board.
The charity has also hosted it’s much-loved Light up a Life services across the local community this month, bringing people together in collective remembrance.
Sarah Stoddart, from the Hospice’s Fundraising team, said:
“We’re delighted to once again be working with Gateway 97.8 to air this special dedication show for our community. The songs have been thoughtfully chosen by the public as a poignant reminder and moment of reflection for those who are no longer with us. I hope you will all tune in to the show on Sunday and join us as we reflect and remember this festive season.”
There is still time to make a donation to the Hospice in your loved one’s memory online at www.stlukeshospice.com/light-up-a-life, where you can add a personal message and a photo to a special online dedication board. Donations can also be made by contacting the Fundraising team on 01268 524973.
