Assault at Station Lane, Pitsea

Essex Police is appealing for information following an assault in Pitsea where a man sustained a deep cut to his cheek.

It was reported the victim, who is in his 40s, was walking towards the underpass near to McDonalds in Station Lane at around 11pm on 12 January when he was approached by three men.

One of the men held what has been described a sharp object to his face.

As he tried to move away he sustained a deep cut to his cheek.

The men then made off.
