So the holidays are here and school is out for people across Basildon and East Thurrock. If you’re wondering what children can get up to over the next 6 weeks, you’re at the right place!

Barleylands:
Art Attack Week – Ready, aim, fire! Grab a paint filled supersoaker and shoot at the giant canvas, plus make your own windmill and suncatcher to take away!

Treasure Hunters – young explorers can join in all the treasure hunting fun happening hourly.
Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August – from 10:00
Birds and Bees – head to the Farm Park and get a buzz from everything bee related plus find out more about native birds of prey and their role in ecology!

Deadly Creatures – go to the Farm Park where you’ll be joined by our in house experts Snakes Alive who’ll be bringing you eyeball to eyeball with some of the scariest snakes, spiders and critters!
17th to 21st August – from 10:00
Crazy Entertainer – In addition to all the fun of the Farm Park, catch special Skittleman shows at intervals throughout each day with magic, balloon modelling and mini discos! There’ll also be a full schedule of extra activities to join in including decorating (and eating!) a biscuit!
24th to 28th August
Ultimate Inflatables – Bounce on castles, zoom down slides, tackle the 40ft jungle run plus special inflatables for little ones.

Marsh Farm:
Be sure to bring your little ones down to Marsh Farm during the 6 week holidays for the Summer Spectacular, taking place every Monday – Friday.
Prepare yourself for daily Birds of Prey Shows, Magic 7 Mayhem Shows AND Pesky Pet Shows! Catch Milking Demonstrations, play games with Shaun the Sheep in the ‘Championsheeps LIVE’ area and run wild in our enormous infltable village – all included with your entrance ticket!
Why not head into Chicken Coop Crafts and get messy with creative with our arty fun? There are hours of fun to be had at Marsh Farm, with a maze, mini-golf, bouncy pillows, sand-pit, tractor town, tractor and trailer rides, pony grooming and the extensive indoor and outdoor play areas, making Marsh Farm the perfect all-weather day-out!
