Conservative aide Samuel Armstrong charged over Commons rape
A Conservative MP's chief of staff has been charged with two counts of rape following an alleged attack at the Houses of Parliament.
Samuel Armstrong, 23, of Copt Hill, Danbury, Essex, who works for South Thanet MP Craig Mackinlay, is charged with two counts of rape and one count of serious sexual assault.
The charge follows an alleged attack at the Houses of Parliament in October.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 31 March.
