The decline of bedtime grooming routine

It’s the decline of the bedtime grooming routine, as up to one in three busy Brits claim they have no time to floss, use mouthwash or in some cases EVEN brush their teeth.

New research by Listerine reveals that 36 per cent of the British population often skip brushing their teeth, 26% scrimp on washing their face and 24% skip putting out their clothes for the following day – all because they completely run out of time before bed.

The findings show the extent to which millions of exhausted Brits are giving up on their nighttime dental health and skincare regimes, with a whopping 46 per cent of women admitting they often hit the pillow with a full face of make-up.

Long gone are the days when women would indulge with a hot bath and a blow-dry, as a third of women (34 per cent) confess they do not have time to moisturise, 23 per cent go to bed with wet hair and 24 per cent don’t even shower.

Aston spoke to Kate Faithfull, wellbeing expert and author to discuss the research in further detail and Kate was also on hand to give advice.
